IN-Sight Photography Project’s Board OF DIRECTORS PROVIDES VITAL LEADERSHIP AND SUPPORT FOR OUR YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PHOTOGRAPHY PROGRAMS.

Rachel Boettcher

Program Director

Rachel is passionate about photography in many of its different forms, and loves sharing that enthusiasm with anyone who has an interest. This is why she is excited to be the Program Director at In-Sight Photography Project. She has previously held positions of volunteer teacher, and Operations and Program Manager at In-Sight.

She holds a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in Community Health Education, and has a background in event and project management. She has also been a professional photographer for the past 20 years- shooting everything from portraits and weddings to working at the US Air Force Academy as a base photographer to working with plastic surgeons, working on cruise ships, and working with the police. She loves a new photographic challenge whenever the opportunity arises. Personally, she enjoys macro photography and capturing anything with a personality. Rachel and her fiance, Dave, moved to Vermont from Austin, Texas in 2021 with their rescued, spoiled dog, Mara and are loving it. They are currently adopting an 8 year old boy.
